This room holds some precious examples of 17th and 18th century furnishing.
Entering the room on the left, stands a typical Bolognese 18th century chest of drawers, with a serpentine shaped top and inlaid drawers with applied dark mouldings.
On the left side there is an Emilian walnut cupboard from the second half of the 17th century (partly modified), with four drawers over four moulded cupboard doors fitted with brass handles.
The great lectern in the center of the room, as well as the walnut choir in the Cappella Farnese, come from the Pepoli bequest. The whole set was probably in a family chapel. In 1911 it was assembled in a room of Palazzo Pepoli and then, in 1915, was given as a loan to the Professional School of Decorative Arts.
The lectern has a carved book holder supported by a spindle over a square base with square-moulded panels. In this room stand four Bolognese 17th century armchairs coming from the Pepoli bequest. Two of them are identical to the ones described in room 1.
The remaining two belong to a different set, but look very similar in style. Another armchair, acquired by the Ignazio Rusconi bequest, has a leather upholstered seat and back rimmed with a red braid and turned spiral stretchers at the front.
