The furniture and furnishings exhibited in this room date to the early 19th century: four small armchairs in the neoclassical style, covered in red velvet with fluted legs, rounded seats and oval backs; a small writing desk, delicately inlaid with a pull out top and square tapered legs.
Placed on the writing desk is a French clock representing one of the allegories of the arts, a young genius crowning the bust of Homer.
In the corners of the room stands a pair of gilded bronze candelabras with an octagonal base. Here fully rounded female figures support a five-armed candleholder and a winged little boy (putto), a pagan symbol, holds the central one.
